Compositions

These tracks were recorded in the 90’s by a band that I called Middle Earth.  It was an acoustic ensemble featuring flute, oboe, acoustic guitar, bass and drums, and often augmented by marimba and cello.

The music is a beautiful and jovial mix of classical, folk and jazz, sometimes classified as Contemporary Instrumental or New Age. Some call it Hobbit Jazz.

These recordings are all “hand-crafted” meaning real musicians playing live in the studio, recording to tape, and has never been released.
